The journey of Busy Bees Locks & Keys Inc. began in 2005 when the husband-wife duo Jerry Schaffer and Jennifer Schaffer took the entrepreneurial plunge and started a locksmith business.
Jerry worked for Ghirardelli Chocolate. At his job, Jerry rekeyed the store locks so many times that he started loving the profession. With his wife’s support, he quit his job to start a locksmith business. Since 2005, Busy Bees has grown from 1 to more than 35 employees. Today, we have five stores and a large fleet of more than 20 trucks, but we are still a family-owned and operated business.
Busy Bees has expert locksmiths for almost every security service that you might need both at home and work. We provide specialized security services for commercial establishments, and also serve local residents for their locksmith service requirements.
Since 2005, Busy Bees Locks & Keys has been serving the residents of San Diego & nearby areas. We have five locksmith shops: Downtown San Diego, Mission Valley, Chula Vista, Escondido & Santee.
