Busy Bees Locks & Keys Inc. was founded by husband-and-wife team Jerry and Jennifer Schaffer. While working at Ghirardelli Chocolate, Jerry discovered his passion for locksmithing after frequently rekeying the store’s locks — and with Jennifer’s encouragement, they launched Busy Bees to bring honest, reliable locksmith services to San Diego.
What started as a small family business has grown into a powerhouse with over 30 service vehicles and a team of 50+ employees, including expert locksmiths and a dedicated customer care team that ensures smooth, worry-free experiences for our clients. Today, we operate six locations and will continue to expand, never losing sight of the personal care and community trust that built our name.
