I was looking for a place that can make a copy of my car key. I was searching on Yep and found several locksmiths that can potentially do it. I used the “Request a Quote” function on Yelp and received several responses within 15 minutes! The owner of Busy Bees Locks & Keys Locksmith , Jerry, replied quickly and asked few follow-up questions before he gave me a quote. He was very responsive and professional with his answers. He provided me good options on copying a car key. The price with remote control on top of key, the price without remote control on top of the key, and the price of key without transponder. Many Locksmiths in the area only have mobile service, which means they don’t have a store front and they have to come to your place for the service. Busy Bees Locksmith actually has two locations, one in Little Italy and one in Chula Vista. After I decided to use their service, he checked their stock and made an appointment for me. Although their store closes at 5:30 pm, he still scheduled an appointment at 5:30p to meet my schedule!!! They also have a deal with Yelp coupon that you pay $10 for $25 service! He was very clear with the price and the type of service that I can use the coupon. In the end, my car key was copied in 5 minutes and costs me only $5! What a service!
I really like the fact that I could contact the owner directly via Yelp Request a Quote and got all the information I need before making an appointment. I also like that they have a store I can visit instead of just the mobile service. I will definitely recommend Busy Bees Locksmith to other people if they ever need a locksmith service.
